We stayed for dinner at the coach house restaurant on the premises and where we could have drinks in the upstairs lounge which was comfortable. Dinner was tasty, served with a smile, with added bonus of being burger night with live music - not too loud, rather lovely background vibes. Included breakfast was generous, tasty, well served and included drinks - fab value.

Comfortable room. Nice touches, loved the gift of the local fudge. Thank you for sorting out my breakfast for 6.15, that was much appreciated. Big car park. I recommend the restaurant, the local pie was delicious.

The staff working there made it a lovely place to stay from the people in the restaurant to the cleaners and grounds people. The food and rooms were great and the lovely places to visit right on its doorstep

Pleasant setting , good location. Just put the heat on! When mentioned at checkout that room was cold we were told they were getting someone to check heating. It works , just set the timer settings for more sensible times!! Ie when guests are in their rooms.

Room and staff were good. Position was convenient. Reception was the bar and accommodation was a walk away outside and then up two flights of stairs. No indication of how to find our room number. Evening menu was quite limited and expensive. Apparently got a deal for b and b (still expensive) but would never pay the full advertised price.

We spent the two days at Kentisbury Grange and only ventured...

We spent the two days at Kentisbury Grange and only ventured out to walk around the grounds due to the bad weather. The House had the most comfortable drawing room that was warm and we were able to sit and relax. We ate at the Grange which was just exceptional. The staff there were all friendly and helpful. Lovely restaurant. The rooms were very spacious, clean and very comfortable.

Excellent weekend stay.

Excellent weekend stay. Our cottage suite was roomy and to a high standard was isolated and quiet 😃 the food in the restaurant was also excellent. My partner who follows a vegan diet questioned why there was no options on the menu, after consultation with the kitchen she was presented with several high quality options that she really enjoyed😀

A hotel in a beautiful location.

A hotel in a beautiful location. Surrounded by lush green grass, ancient trees, and lakes. Loved to see the young rabbits running around, ducks with their chicks. Rooms were clean with a good shower and bathroom. The king size beds were so comfortable. Couldn't fault my room. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Myself and my partner had a great weekend away here. It was my partners birthday and after speaking to the hotel, we managed to arrange for them to decorate the room before our arrival. A lot of effort was put into it and a really nice touch for our weekend. We had breakfast in the restaurant in the morning and the food was lovely and the service was excellent. The location of this hotel is perfect, so quiet and out of the way which is just what we needed. A great stay and would definitely come back!

Lovely, spacious room in the main house within 20-30 minutes drive of some lovely coastal walks. We ate well in the hotel restaurant each night and good breakfasts each morning. The staff were all friendly, helpful and only too happy to help. Excellent for a mini break on the edge of Exmoor/north Devon coast.

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds in a quiet country setting. We were there for a reunion with a large group of friends. The lounge in the hotel building meant that we were all able to meet up away from the restaurant. It was perfect for what we wanted. Food was delicious.
