Terry couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful, lovely guy. Room was very clean and well laid out with a large comfortable bed. Mill Race pub is within walking distance but I'd advise that you drive. The road is potentially dangerous for walking on, no footpath. We didn't try the Inn on the Wye. You must visit Symonds Yat and Goodrich Castle, both fantastic. Good eateries in Ross; Avellino (great Italian) also Yaks and Yetis, real hidden gem. The Royal Hotel is worth a visit, lovely view over the river and not expensive.
