The city is being refurbished.

The city is being refurbished. The city centre and harbourside areas are wonderful with lots of pubs and restaurants to visit, a lot of which are dog friendly. We will return to spend more time exploring more of the city and the surrounding areas

Hull is getting more like a ghost town every time we go, it shuts down from 5pm every day and there is nothing to do. We had plans including an evening in connexin arena and vue cinema but without this we would have been stuck I'm afraid

Centrally situated in a hotel with a few too many staircases but then it is what it is and cannot be changed for the older person access to the bedrooms is not as smooth as one would like. The breakfast was no one could wish for and generally the service from the staff well up to standard

We came to visit Spurn point for birding, which was fabulous as usual, but Hull is one of our favourite places. It is a vibrant city with lots going on, from the arty fruit market scene; the historic and fascinating museum quarter; the marina; or the city centre with lovely art gallery events venues and theatres, to The Deep. Great shopping if that’s your thing. Something for everyone and the people are very friendly.

Very, very poor shape of the household.

Very, very poor shape of the household. Rubbish, beverage spillages, and leftovers from previous guests. Dog food scraps across the carpeted floor. Carpet stinks. Damaged backyard gate → robbery risk. Host never ever showed up. Booking did not help at all. Worst experience ever. I recommend A-BnB and definitely other accommodations, as this is an absolute scam and money sink. Car park is for permit holders, only, contrary to what's indicated in the announcement. Neighborhood is not good at all, neither.

Location for Hull centre is excellent. Free carpark is a bonus. Hotel and room were very clean and room tastefully decorated. Bar prices were very cheap. All staff (receptionist, barman, cleaner & manager] were very friendly and helpful. Excellent value. This is now our 1st choice hotel when visiting family and friends in Hull.

Everything here is ideal. The property and room are extremely cozy, the hosts are the best people ever, and the breakfast is delicious. The neighborhood is lovely, with loads of cafes and restaurants nearby, and a very nice walk from the city centre. I've stayed here twice and I will again whenever I'm in Hull.

The property was in a great location, a few minutes walk from the marina & hull city centre. The apartment was cleaned to a high standard and had everything you would need in a self catering accommodation.

Despite the roadworks, the location was great for the marina, Fruit Market restaurants and city centre.
