We just stayed at Number Four at Stowe and absolutely loved the experience from the very beginning. I wish we would have booked 1 more night. I was traveling with my husband and 2 kids, and there was plenty of room in the family room for everyone. We loved the tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies that the staff stocked the room with, and the bathroom was stocked with high end shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc. At the end of our second day here we enjoyed sitting behind the hotel in the table and chairs, relaxing while the kids ran in the field and watched the sheep next door. We had an absolutely wonderful time here and would love to come back.

We loved our stay! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, there was complementary sherry (!!), the food at the restaurant was delicious and the bar was a great place to have a drink. They let us leave our luggage while we toured the area and then we waited a dew hours at the bar for our train and we felt welcomed. We really appreciated that. The breakfast was also delicious!?
