Colin and Sandra are very kind. The hotel is very cleaned. Breakfast is rich and Sandra makes the best porridge I have ever had in UK. Colin gave us good suggestions about the visits around Llandudno and helped us with our laggages. The hotel is on the Promenade and near to the train station: it is in a perfect position. It's the best choice to travel around (it's near to publics means of transport and there is also a parking on the back) and to have a quiet holiday

The location is excellent. The gentleman working the front desk was so very nice. Explained the parking options, areas of interest. The hotel was still under construction but it was not a bother at all. Will return again someday. Would love to see it when construction is complete

FAQs about hotels in Llandudno

Victorian Resort with a Welsh Twist

The most popular Wales seaside resort, Llandudno covers a peninsula with 2 sandy coastlines. The North Shore’s wide Victorian promenade is lined with period buildings which now house seafront hotels and guest houses. The beach itself stretches all the way between the Little Orme and Great Orme headlands, passing an outdoor swimming pool.

A historic tram climbs to the peak of Great Orme, where Bronze Age copper mines can be visited. The top is also reachable by cable car from Happy Valley, a recreation area with gardens and an artificial ski slope.

A road runs around the base of the headland passing the historic Grand Hotel, a property available on Booking.com and overlooking the Grade II-listed pier – the longest in Wales. The West Shore is much less developed and the Maesdu Golf Course forms most of its shoreline.

Of course, Llandudno has its fair share of traditional seaside pursuits such as donkey rides and fish and chip shops.

The town also has a modern retail park near the train station and Venue Cymru event centre, and wrought-iron canopies shade smaller shops along Mostyn Avenue, Broadway and Street. The latter - Mostyn Street - is effectively the high street and becomes brightly decorated during the Victorian carnival in May.

A lovely, atmospheric seaside town packed full of great attractions with a spectacular pier. The Great Orme, ski lift, fabulous historic tram and many splendid views to the mountains as a backdrop. Excellent retail parks and and a very picturesque shopping main street , but perhaps the highlight is the wonderful picturesque sweep of the bay with its brightly coloured hotels and houses sweeping around the bay. Well served by bus and train and good road access to the beautiful surrounding countryside that is North Wales.

Llandudno was the place we holidayed each year when I was a young girl. When I come to Llandudno I feel like I'm home. It is a wonderful place steeped in our families history. My great-grandparentd holidayed here. We now stay on the west shore at the Lily with Rooms which is a stunning hidden gem. For fish & chips it's always Tribells which was where we ate 50 years ago. I dont know if its the same name but its the same place & it bring me great comfort to revisit places I went to as a young girl. The Great Orme is a must, you can see for miles when up there.

quite the location for old world feels, great pier, lots of avrg fried food with some very expensive places, prices getting crazy out there for the qualty we had. however the basic stuff like the local chippy was very high price / quality ratio. however when a small glass of wine of little qualty is 8 quid i would pass. some very good walks, and the magic of the old peir!

Very enjoyable overnight stay in lovely Llandudno. The hotel is very conveniently located in the centre of the town and easy walking distance to the seafront and pier. The hotel itself was good value for money with a nice bar and restaurant and breakfast was superb! The room and twin beds were quite small but contained everything we needed and it was warm, comfortable and immaculately clean. We even had a friendly seagull tapping on the window to say hello!

Stayed here before and couldn’t believe the value for money so have returned, you will get better, more upmarket hotels, even in Llandudno but it’s really nice here, the staff are super friendly and helpful and a decent breakfast. Coupled with the location on the seafront, you won’t get a better pound for pound hotel in Llandudno. Will return again.
