Amazing and very quirky cabin getaway for mine and my partners anniversary! Absolutely loved the hot tub and sauna. The hot tub stayed at a perfect temperature throughout our weekend stay. The cabin itself was great, with lots of cooking facilities and a comfy bed. Extremely clean throughout the property and for it being mid January, the heating system was fantastic in keeping the cabin warm. Kate, our lovely host was great in answering any questions we had and very fast at replying. The area itself had restaurants and shops within 5/10 minute drives which kept us with plenty to do and the views were great from the rooftop terrace. 10/10 recommend this property for anniversaries, birthdays or anyone wanting a quiet weekend get away!

Everything in the apartment was clean and smelled great! All the gadgets in the house was really fun to use as in the Bluetooth light shade in the bathroom, Netflix on all tvs, the best part was the spa room amazing hot tub with tv on the wall, also a sauna plus a shower with lots of options of use, overall everything in that apartment is expensive and worth every penny of your stay, very sad to be leaving, I have recommended this place to a lot of people so I hope that helps spread the word of a great stay, will definitely be coming back to stay again.

Great hotel with amazing staff, especially Richard and his wife who made us our lovely breakfast’s and were extremely friendly and helpful during our stay, as was the owner. We stayed for two nights and the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The bar and restaurant serves lovely food and the quiz night when we stayed was very good. Although we didn’t do so well with the answers… it was all in great spirit and helped raised some money for a local charity. Not far from the hotel, a short walk over the railway crossing bridge is the main town which offers a few other pubs, takeaways, and other amenities so there is other things to do and see. The best thing about this place, however, was the staff, who were some of the nicest and friendliest staff we’ve encountered on our many stays in and around England, Scotland and Wales while working away. There isn’t a thing we didn’t like about our two day stay, the prices were reasonable and very very good considering the whole package, the rooms were nice and clean, quiet, comfortable and with in room amenities. I must compliment Richard and his wife for their hospitality, for allowing us to join the quiz and for their lovely breakfasts, the owner too for his lovely chats and for making us feel like we weren’t just guests, but locals. We will definitely be staying here again, hopefully in the next few weeks as we will be working close by here soon.

Although our arrival was a bit confusing and we only introduced ourselves to the hosts the next day, everything turned out absolutely fine. The owners were warm and welcoming, and once we settled in, we had a lovely, peaceful stay. They’ve only been running the place for four months, but they’re clearly putting in a huge amount of work to make the site even better, from adding a stylish common room with stunning views to building eco pods and setting up ice baths. It’s exciting to see how the place is evolving! The cottage itself was cosy, clean, and well-equipped. We loved the quiet surroundings and the views over the valley. Definitely a place with heart, and a lot of potential.
