This place is a little gem, more boutique hotel experience than B&B. The quality of the rooms, beds, linen, food and decor is incredible. Located 2 minutes from the heart of town, but so very quiet at night, we had the best sleep in the comfortable beds. Free parking over the road, on a safe side street. Carmen, the owner greeted us, and made a delicious cooked to order breakfast, also offered a lovely breakfast continental buffet. The fridge in the room also had fresh milk and a proper tea/coffee set up. A gorgeous, Edwardian, terraced house. stunning entrance and lovingly restored by Carmen and her husband. You could not find better accommodation in the region. We were totally shocked at the quality here.

The stay was so lovely. The cabin is really cute and cozy and Lauren was so lovely, heading over in the morning to put the heating on for us so it was warm when we arrived. We sat and watched little planes take off in the morning which also made the trip special!! The decor of the hut was so lovely and cute- the bathroom was lovely and the room was perfect and cosy there’s little hooks to hang up clothes/small bags and the mattress and bedding was really comfy. Lauren left out little drinks and snacks and there’s a basket of board games to really add to the coziness. We headed down to the local pub for tea, after looking at the very cute and informative guest booklet in the hut with all cute places to go nearby. Also- the shower was so lovely, I was expecting very little from a shower in a hut but it was so warm and the water pressure was fab! Overall we had such a lovely lovely stay and are planning to come back next year!!

    Enjoyed setting of hotel, excellent food both breakfast and evening meals. Visited Bamburgh, Seahouses, The Farne Islands, Warwick, Amble, Alnwick Gardens and Alnmouth. Good for walking in the area.

    Longhorsley is a great base for exploring Northumberland, with a Spa hotel and pub offering something a little extra to the small village. Only a short drive from some of the main sightseeing spots, surrounded by beautiful countryside.

    Only nice thing was the land and gardens, everything else was a dive. No aircon in room really old bathroom and dirty floor granite. Really needs upgraded. Wish we staying in a Premier Inn instead. We had breakfast included but wasn't great at all we opted to eat out on the second day. Really don't recomend at all.

    7 adults stayed here for the weekend.

    7 adults stayed here for the weekend. Such a beautiful cottage, with everything you need at hand. The cottage is massive! Plenty of space to socialise, or if you want to, relax on your own. The weather was glorious, so we enjoyed soaking up the sun in the garden. It was so peaceful and the views are stunning! We would definitely recommend staying at Blackpool Farm Cottage.

    A great place to relax and get away from everything for a short while. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and comfortable and the grounds were good for gentle walks - we didn't play golf but it's there if you need it!! The main restaurant wasn't open but the food in the on site pub was good.

    The photo and description of the rooms are not correct, the window was that small and high you could not see out of it, no comfortable lounge chairs in room as it was too small. Stuck up in a attic room with a sloping ceiling Pool area not clean towels left on beds not being used and cups and drink bottles left, changing area not clear, slippers and towel left in there, for over a hour Make your own bed ! What’s the excuse for this Restaurant staff excellent, meals lovely This WAS one of our favourite hotels, never again

    Great place to stay, and perfect for the dogs with the huge enclosed paddock at the back. I was visiting alongside some friends who were staying at the nearby hotel, so it's perfect or that - was able to go make use of the spa facilities there which was great. The Croft itself is well equipped, lovely open plan accommodation, very comfortable. Great location for exploring Northumberland, I will definitely return.

    The property is beautiful - stunning Georgian farmhouse with lots of lovely country styling and touches. Zoe was a great hostess and very attentive- breakfast was really good. Lots of choice. Full of little touched that you wouldn’t find in a big hotel including lovely antique furniture, handmade soaps and delicious homemade biscuits on the tea tray. We will be back!
