Mercy, the lady on reception, was so attentive and kind. The breakfast was delicious and huge, and the beds were very comfortable too. There is a beautiful view in the morning from the lounge room too.

Great cabin with everything you could possibly need for a vacation. Very clean, cosy living room with a fireplace, well equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Debbie even baked homemade bread to welcome us. We would love to come back!

recently had the pleasure of booking a stay at Aurora Retreats and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, everything about my stay exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, the owner of Aurora Retreats was incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure that I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. From providing detailed directions to the property to offering helpful suggestions on local restaurants, their warm and welcoming nature made me feel right at home. Speaking of the property itself, it was nothing short of stunning. Nestled in the midst of nature, the retreat offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The serene atmosphere and tranquil surroundings made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It truly felt like a hidden gem. One aspect that particularly stood out to me was the impeccable cleanliness and tidiness of the place. The attention to detail was evident in every nook and cranny. The rooms were spotless, the common areas were well-maintained, and the overall ambiance was one of relaxation and serenity. It was clear that the owners take great pride in maintaining their property to the highest standards. During my stay, I had the opportunity to explore the surrounding area, and I was not disappointed. There were plenty of activities to enjoy, from hiking trails to nearby attractions. The owner's recommendations proved to be invaluable, as I was able to make the most of my time in the area and discover hidden gems I would have otherwise missed. Overall, my experience at Aurora Retreats was exceptional, and I can confidently say that I will be coming back in the future. The staff was super friendly and warm people. The room we stayed in was quite small but very cosily furnished. The Inn has a very cute living room on the first floor with a fireplace, some books and board games where you can relax and staff can bring you drinks.

Hame on Skye was a great spot!

Hame on Skye was a great spot! We were only there for one night, but the facility is spotless, and the Honor Bar was great! We sat in the living room and played cards while we drank our wine/scotch! I would highly recommend this spot for any travelers wanting a quiet and picturesque place to stay. The breakfast was delicious as well!

Hame on Skye is the perfect place to explore the island.

Hame on Skye is the perfect place to explore the island. Its location means you have access to numerous sights. The host were friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The real bonus was the quality of the food courtesy of JJ. It was way above what was expected. There was locally sourced produce prepared to a very high standard.

What an amazing place to explore!

What an amazing place to explore! We were there for two full days but really should have booked for longer. From the Old Man of Storr to Neist Point down to the Fairy Pools and Loch Coruisk - there is so much to see and explore! One amazing find for us was the Dunvegan Hotel restaurant!! What an unexpected surprise! The food is not your typical fare and it is amazing. The setting is lovely with a fireplace and a cozy feel to the dining area. The service is excellent! We luckily were able to book to go back for the very next evening which meant we got to try different things from the menus and get impressed all over again! The Dunvegan Hotel restaurant is truly a hidden gem!!
