The greyhound inn was an amazing place to stay! We loved every second of our stay and was honestly sad our stay ended. The room was absolutely immaculate and the beds were so comfortable. We had everything we needed provided such as clean bedding with blankets, toiletries with fresh towels, tea coffee and sugar with a kettle, WIFI and TV. The staff was absolutely amazing and such lovely down to earth people and i honestly can’t thank them enough for the attention to detail and done everything and more to make our stay an absolute pleasure. The greyhound is a beautiful pub in the heart of the countryside within the Lake District. The prices were more than reasonable and there it was so lovely to have a meal and drinks of an evening and had a real sense of comfort. We would 100% be booking to come back and stay again. I would lastly like to say a special thank you to Lisa for making our stay so perfect. Our time at the greyhound was so perfect and we can not wait to come back again. Thank you all so much.

Loved everything about our stay. Staff all friendly. We even stayed an extra night. Ate twice downstairs in the bar out on the terrace. Tapas were amazing. Barman a great guy, made us feel very welcome even though he was run off his feet. Loved everything about our stay. Room and ensuite were huge.

We had an absolutely wonderful 2-day stay at Longsdale House Luxury Apartments in Ulverston. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The apartment was immaculate, beautifully furnished, and equipped with every amenity we could need for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was impressive – from the cozy bedding to the thoughtful touches like complimentary toiletries and a well-stocked kitchen. The living space was spacious yet cozy, making it ideal for both relaxing and spending quality family time. The location was perfect for exploring the Lake District, with easy access to local attractions while still being tucked away in a peaceful, charming area. I liked the little bench on the green from where you could...

I liked the little bench on the green from where you could see and identify all the fells and hills and the fact that the house was central to all we wished to see in south lakes . The fact that Ulverston and Booths supermarket was 5 mins down the road was convenient.

Very close to the southern lakes as well as the coast.

Very close to the southern lakes as well as the coast. Very quiet with lots of shorter walks in stunning countryside surrounded by panoramic views. Easy to get to from all major routes. Have an evening walk up to St. Luke`s church, sit in the churchyard and admire the stunning view across the valley. Visit the tea rooms in Ulverston and take the short drive to Cartmel and have a look around the Priory church. Drive up the coast road to Barrow-in-Furness. Plenty of places to stop, park up and admire the stunning view across the bay.
