We had a party with a band for about 70 people. It was a fantastic night, the drink was reasonable and the food (buffet) was delicious and they didn't skimp on the quantities.

The complete package is very round, excellent room, wonderful dinner in a Michelin Star Restaurant which really earns this star, very nice and supportive staff. Nicolas and Murray were fantastic and made our dinner very special. Since years finally a Michelin Star restaurant were we both would love to come back.

Love it, very friendly manager who made us feel welcome and was very friendly. Huge room with great views. My room did not have an in-suite bathroom, but it was very close, and we did not mind. The place was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable.

Clean and nicely designed rooms, equipped with everything necessary. The hotel is located very central, close to the beach and grocery store. Parking next to hotel. There is a restaurant in the hotel, that seems to have a nice vibe, but we didn't have a chance to try it out.

We came up for a family event and were met by the wonderful couple who run Lomond Guest House. We were made to feel very welcome, and were looked after very well. It’s a nice house, with a clean and comfortable room and breakfast area, close to the beach. Other members of my family had come up to stay there a few weeks previously, and they had also had a lovely stay.

Host was excellent as was everything else.

Host was excellent as was everything else. Breakfast was really good. Everything cooked fresh to order. Matt the host was very knowlegeable about everything in area. Lovely place to stay and room very clean and had a lovely view of the sea. Wouldnt hesitate to visit again. Wouldnt stay anywhere else in area. We had a fabulous time and my thanks to Matt for being such a lovely host

We stay here so that we can visit East Neuk Music Festival...

We stay here so that we can visit East Neuk Music Festival at the end of July. It is reasonably central for us,takes dogs. Also food is available for much of the day. The roads are quiet and the back roads even quieter. These take you to lovely places like Kellie Castle,Falkland Palace and Tentsmuir forest. The beaches and villages have a pleasant feel about them. You can even leave your car and use the frequent bus service. Especially useful for St Andrews Our beautiful golden retriever really appreciates rolling in the spikey grass at Bowhouse,which has good food,a butchers,bakers and live music.

A comfortable hotel; our room was a good size, attractively...

A comfortable hotel; our room was a good size, attractively decorated and furnished with a sea view and large balcony. The staff were very friendly, and both dinner and breakfast were good. Our stay was marred by a number of plumbing issues, which spoilt an otherwise enjoyable stay. I reported these, and hopefully the management will get on top of their maintenance issues.

An excellent family house - beautifully clean, well-equipped...

An excellent family house - beautifully clean, well-equipped kitchen, a lovely log burner, very comfortable beds, loads of space and a great play room for the children. Liz could not be more welcoming and is always on hand to answer questions and meet the needs of her guests. She and JP are the perfect hosts.

We loved the lounge with comfortable sofas, large flat...

We loved the lounge with comfortable sofas, large flat screen TV with lots of side tables to use. The room was quite large and so was the apartment itself. The place was ideally situated for beach walking and along the fife coast. There is a Hotel nearby the Old Manor that you can eat in, if you didn't fancy cooking.

Just perfect. Great room with balcony and sea view. Great unobtrusive service. Comfortable furniture, Excellent food. Great access for visiting the old Fife fishing villages, Elie, Pittenweem, Crail etc A bit hot at night, should have left the window open.

If you're going to Scotland, a view across the water is a must. The location has a magnificent view across the Firth of Forth. Add to that Matt's mastery in providing homely hospitality, and you have a rare gem, indeed. No branding, no corporate image, just the real thing.And there's a mean choice of freshly prepared breakfast.
