Greeted very well when I arrived. I am not good with technology but the receptionist talked me through the checking in. She was very friendly. The room was very clean the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Great variety and well presented

The staff were so so friendly. One girl in particular who was working in Carrie’s bar on Saturday night just beamed positivity and happiness. She was so lovely and was honestly a ball of sunshine! I couldn’t see her name tag but it began with a C and she was working with two other boys. She is a credit to the company, she just radiates good vibes :) Breakfast was fabulous. The pool and leisure centre is amazing and the fitting rooms are very neat and well thought out. We got upgraded to a suite which was such a treat!

I thoroughly recommend The Vale hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay close to Cirencester, Cotswolds, or North Downs. The town itself is small, but surrounded with lovely nature reserves worth a lengthy hike. Already in Cirencester the locals told me to look forward to the hospitality of Mark, the host, and I wasn't left disappointed. As soon as he saw me arrive in motorcycle gear he offered me to park my ride safely in the gated courtyard. The room I got was unexpectedly spacious, with modern sanitary facilities, and after seeing it I would've loved to stay there longer than just one night. The pub and the restaurant downstairs are perfect for food and drinks. It was one of the nicest, most fun stays on my 10-day tour of south-west England, all thanks to Mark and his talent for bringing people together and making them feel comfortable at his premises. Looking forward to staying there again sometime.

The room was gorgeous! I was on my own but wasn't on my own for long when I went into the bar. Everyone was so friendly and inclusive. Love it! Thank you

Very welcoming hosts

Very welcoming hosts What a fantastic place (I assume a converted barn) The work done in a very artistic manner, using what other people would consider redundant but tastefully incorporate into the building to give an excellent result There was a well-equipped kitchen providing Croissants, butter, jams, coffee machine, and tea for a continental stile breakfast. Other facilities were also available hot tub, BBQ etc. All for a very reasonable price. Poor Wi-Fi signal But that was a miner consideration as it was a working weekend, I had Wi-Fi facilities at conference venue Excellent if I am looking to stay in Swindon in the future this would be my first chose hopping the Windrush Lodge is available.
