Loved the welcome our dog got, the bed, the ball the treats. Room very spacious with both our dog and baby. Attention to details, seems they have thought of everything! Breakfast was great, hosts were lovely. Would recommend to friends!

Everything … comfortable bed, immediate hot water, everything needed was there. Easy to get into the apartment. Fantastic views, great location for 2 nights to rest and visit Dunnet Head , castle of Mey and the Stacks close by.

It is the sweetest accommodation I've ever been in. Everything is made to the latest detail in very nice way. I don´t have enough words to describe it... You have to experience it :) Also the area is beautiful (the cliffs, walks around the little city, sheeps and also rabbits around...). I would definitely recommend to stay longer than one night. And be sure to visit the farm and little shop full of handmade things. I´m in love with this place and hopefully will come back one day :)

The proprietors Euan & Emma were excellent company and very attentive to guests' needs. The hotel had an excellent menu with accompanying wines, beers, spirits, if required. The hotel also had an extensive range of locally-produced spirits. The accommodation was excellent and well-equipped. The only down-side was the lack of TV reception - although being without TV was somewhat of a blessing!

We received a very warm welcome from the owners.

We received a very warm welcome from the owners. The house has been, and continues to be, meticulously renovated and furnished with great personal enthusiasm and care. The cuisine is excellent, and the service reflects the owners' expertise. The couple offers personal interaction without being pushy. This hotel would certainly be our choice for a future trip.

This place is a little gem. If you want a spiritual retreat full of candles and incense in a quiet location, then this is for you. With no Wi-Fi, this is a place to come and escape. And not one touristy picture of a Highland cow to be seen - what a joy! The owner Fred, is a breath of fresh air. Loved the spacious rooms and very comfy king size bed. The property is just across the road from the footpath to Loch Mey with its bird hide. Great for birdwatchers.

The bed was very comfy. The location is excellent for Castle O'Mey and Dunnet Head - I would say forget commercial John O'Groats and go to wild and windy Dunnet which is the REAL most northerly point of mainland Britain. At this guest house from your breakfast table you can watch birds having their brekkie right outside your window, a delightful thing.

This hotel is a little gem, the owners are very friendly and welcoming and made our stay a real pleasure. The dining experience, dinner and breakfast, was as good as the rest of it. We would recommend a stay here to any of our friends.
