Exceptional stay — wish we could have stayed longer! We stayed at this beautiful property while attending a family event, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The house was stunning — tastefully decorated, incredibly clean and tidy, and full of thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. From the moment we arrived, the hosts had clearly gone above and beyond. We were welcomed with cookies and Prosecco, which was such a lovely surprise. Communication with the hosts was excellent. They responded to messages quickly and were always helpful and friendly. Honestly, the only downside was that we were only there for one night — we would have loved to stay longer! We’ll definitely book again when visiting family and would 100% recommend this property to others.

The owner was very helpful prior to our arrival which when you do not know an area is always great. They were also able to accommodate an early check in as after travelling through the night was very helpful. The cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was centrally located and in walking distance to pubs, a hotel, a deli, a butchers and a supermarket.

This property is delightful. A very tastefully crafted space in a gorgeous setting. The tiny but adorable kitchen was a bonus, with a spacious fridge, proper sink and handy hob. The entrance hall with underfloor heating and a handy dining table for two is very appealing. The bowl of fresh apples and pears was a welcome treat. The bedroom was large yet low ceilinged and therefore cosy. Plenty of artificial light to compensate for the cottage size window. We were made to feel very welcome by the host and they kindly accommodated our request for an earlier check-in. Would highly recommend for a weekend or longer stay.

It is the most gorgeous B‘nB in a non-touristy, authentic setting of Cotswold. The building is stunning and the interior is beautifully decorated. The rooms are cosy in an elegant way, the room does not leave a wish not fulfilled, an downstairs awaits you the best food you have ever had. The chef is an artist, truly. The staff is non pretentious and humble (the British understatement) whilst providing the best of service without the posh restaurant nonsense. It was a truly fairytale like experience. Thank you!!!

The whole stay was amazing! Location was perfect, with great walks to do around the Cotswolds. The food was delicious, especially in the hook. We couldn’t fault the service, they were attentive throughout our stay, we even arrived to a lovely set up for our dog, including a bed, bowls, treats and a new toy. Would 100% return and would recommend

Very pretty village and a convenient base for exploring the Cotswolds. Nice place to walk the dog albeit very busy at times with other dog walkers. We ate at The Kings Arms. Fabulous beer garden but the menu was a bit limited for us. There was more choice if you ate inside. I don’t know why they have a beer garden menu and eating inside menu ?

Mickleton is a nice village.

Mickleton is a nice village. It has an awesome butcher, and a couple of small shops, including a small, if a bit expensive supermarket. It is a busy village and there is quite a bit of through traffic which can make it a bit noisy. There are a couple of nice pubs, one very much on the tourist route as a stop off. The Butcher's Arms serves mainly pies, burgers and pizza, but has a nice atmosphere. The Kings Arms is more fine dining, however, if you do book for here, do make sure your table is in the restaurant; we were placed in the bar which was loud, packed (people bumped my chair every time they walked past) and is very dog friendly, which is nice, but we had dogs wandering about off lead, barking at other dogs and under the table as we ate. We got moved to the restaurant and the food was excellent. Mickleton has some wonderful buildings and easy access to the Cotswolds and some nearby Farm shops. Its very welcoming and a relaxed feel,

It was a good base for being nearby to some of the worth visiting cotswolds towns like chipping campden and broadway… it really depends what you want. If you prefer to not use a car whilst you are away then I’d avoid staying in Mickleton as there’s only two pubs and a small morrisons

Local walks available (we used those behind the church), two local pubs (we chose The Kings Arms) and a convenience store (which we didn't require). The location allowed us to visit Chipping Campden, Broadway (including the Tower), and Stow on the Wold (a lovely day out). As well as the walk in Mickleton we also made the short trip to Dovers Hill and further afield to Belas Knap Long Barrow. The location means visits can be made to Stratford, Oxford, Cheltenham and Gloucester
