Our first impression was the cleanliness of all the amenities were, compliments to your host cleaner. The cottage has been designed to the highest of standards with the surroundings perfect for a stroll for us older generation. Our son who arranged this is a seasoned self catering family as they have a dog, we have not done so in 40years. Even local pub ( Gun In ) outside facilities were quiet. We did try to leave the premises in a tidy condition and had no mishaps, we only prepared breakfasts as we dined out every evening as it was our wedding anniversary. When our son was very young was when we last self catered in the Barton/Highcliffe area. We have already recommended your facilities

We had a wonderful stay! The place had everything we needed and was ideal for us to wind down. The bed was comfortable with extra pillows. We were also happy to have both shower and a bathtub. The outdoor area is also very nice with the green lighting. The hosts were very helpful and got back to us quick. Parking spot is right in front of the door. The location was also perfect. The town center with various shops is around the corner, the beach is in walking distance and Hurst Castle can also be reached on foot along a nice beach path. It's also wonderful for dogs. The dog can roam about the enclosed area outside. There are various parks to walk the dog too. There is even a vet and dog grooming in walking distance if needed.

We've visited Milford many times.

We've visited Milford many times. There are a few lovely little spots like Keyhaven harbour, Hurst Castle and the walk out along the spit and our favourite little cafe, the Needles Eye. Great bus service into Lymington if you don't fancy driving, or if you are mobile there is the most lovely flat walk around the Solent estuary between Milford and Lymington. Wonderful wildlife to be seen.

This was a lovely, friendly small seaside village- with lots of walking and stops for tea drinking and cake eating! It had a very special community feel to the the village and I would have loved to have stayed a few more days to explore the surrounding villages too. We wanted to visit Hurst castle, but due to the weather it was not possible- so we will be back in the future. We ate and drank in the Smugglers Inn and Needles cafe- both were excellent quality and value for money. The friendliness and service in everywhere we visited was lovely- we felt very welcomed. This was my Turkish husband's first trip to the english seaside and he didn't want to leave!

Milford on Sea is a lovely place.

Milford on Sea is a lovely place. There is a lovely village green in the centre of the village, which is certain worth a visit. There are some lovely shops, cafes and restaurants in Milford on Sea. There is a short walk to the beach and promenade, which is worth a visit. The views across the Solent across to the Needles are fantastic. There is a super walk along the promenade and cliff top footpath. There is excellent car parking on the seafront and the sea is always worth a good swim. Just delightful.

Friendly helpful people, lots of shops selling local produce. Plenty of parking in all beach car parks. Vibrant village green and a wealth of eating places, pubs and bars . Would recommend a visit to Hurst Castle and the beach cafe. You can walk to the castle or take the ferry. All are well signposted.

Beautiful place to visit.

Beautiful place to visit. Not far from other places to visit, eg New Forest, Christchurch, Lymington etc. Very clean and beautiful views, including Isle of Wight etc. Plenty of parking places and a path near the sea front for you to walk along. Good for people with dogs, or who have a mobility scooter. If you are going for a swim, it's a good idea to wear something on your feet as it's difficult to get out with the pebbles on the beach and the current is also strong!

We loved our up grade room 5 it was Large with large sea...

We loved our up grade room 5 it was Large with large sea views and it had a copper bath in the room .The only down side because it is a very old Building and we were not able to open many of the windows , and it was a very hot day . But there was a fan in the room which was a help.

Cabin was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Everything we needed was provided - all we had to bring was our own towels. Milk, juice and even shortbread was provided - a lovely treat. As adults we didn't explore the facilities as we expected them to be very busy during half term, however we used the site as a base to explore the New Forest, which we love, and Milford on Sea.

Cheap little place in the middle of Milford on Sea village, handy for restaurants, shops etc. Well heated, with easy thermostat. All the facilities you'd expect in a small flat. Bathroom has a bath, which is always a plus. Free parking in street till 11:00 if you can't fit in the flat's parking space.

Great stop over whilst we were cycling the new forest!! They don’t provide towels but we had left without any as we were staying at numerous hotels and they managed to obtain 2 for us!! Thank you we are very grateful!
