Comfortable bed, good pressure hot shower. The hostess was very nice and prepared dinner in a bank holiday when there were no other food options in the village. I needed to leave early so she left me some pastries :D

Belated review we stayed earlier in Autumn; wonderful cottage, extremely comfortable, with great attention to detail. Excellent parking. Great location in the lovely village of Millthrop just down the road from Sedbergh, with walks from door.

Plenty of walking up various hills, lots of bookshops to...

Plenty of walking up various hills, lots of bookshops to browse, had the chance to watch Lancashire cricket match on the school cricket field while we were there. Several pub options all serving good food, we mostly went to the Red Lion but tried them all ☺️
