This is an historic property having once being owned by the Duke of Buckingham. They serve a wonderful breakfast, and dinner is also very well presented. We stayed in room 2 which is on the ground floor next to where the stables used to be. Parking was free but tight as the spaces were not designed for the wider SUV vehicles, none-the-less we navigated the space with no problems. The room was very comfortable. We enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and would recommend the hotel for visitors to Stowe and Bletchley Park

Our stay at the Redwing Retreat was wonderful. It was a last minite planned few days, as I had been working in the area but staying in a hotel, my family (partner & 2 year old) wanted to come join me. We found this property and it really did treat us well. The house itself is in a great location, on a lovely estate in which has a number of parks and open green areas. Short walk to a pub and shop and then also a short drive to both Bicester village and centre. The amenties in the house were above and beyond. We really didnt struggle to find anything that we needed and more. Even the small touch of the owner leaving a small gift for my little boy. It was overall an amazing stay.

Brilliant location, fully stocked kitchen, we came for a family wedding in the town and can not recommend this place enough. I booked the 1 bed and the 2 bed for my family and it exceeded expectations!

Such a cute little place to stay set in a beautiful location...

Such a cute little place to stay set in a beautiful location. Very helpful and welcoming hosts. I met the house sitters during my stay who were super friendly and welcoming, I even got some hone grown tomatoes and strawberries. I wanted to be close to Blenheim and Woodstock so this place was half an hour away. It was the perfect compromise due to the cost which was much more within my budget than other places closer I loved the Outlook into the horse pasture watching the red kites and the rabbits. WiFi was excellent. I had everything I needed all compacted into a small space. Thankfully the weather on the whole was good so I could utilise the outside space, if it were raining and you were there for any length of time, I could imagine it would get a bit claustrophobic but used as a base for exploring the area, it is ideal. The only downside was the size of the bed is on the smaller side but was super comfy once I was able to clamber up onto the bed. At 5ft 3, the bed was a little high for me to easily get on and off so if anyone has any mobility issues, it would be a problem, however a stepping stool could help this. There were no comfortable chairs to sit on either so the bed was the only option to lounge. There was a stool inside and a garden chair outside. The option to use an outdoor bbq and firepit was lovely, not that I got to use it on this occasion. I had the use of toiletries and towels which saved me packing space bringing my own! The fridge was over efficient and super cool to the point my milk was semi frozen which I didn't realise until the morning I was leaving but guessing I could have turned this down? I couldn't believe how many facilities were fit into this space, very well done and a lovely rustic feel. Would definitely recommend for a short stay and would love to go back.
