We loved our stay! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, there was complementary sherry (!!), the food at the restaurant was delicious and the bar was a great place to have a drink. They let us leave our luggage while we toured the area and then we waited a dew hours at the bar for our train and we felt welcomed. We really appreciated that. The breakfast was also delicious!?

A nice central town that is a good place to stay for when...

A nice central town that is a good place to stay for when you are out exploring the cotsworlds. There's plenty of places to eat, cafes, restaurants and pubs. There is free parking on the front of the shops, but you will have to get there early, to secure a spot. There is also a pay and display car park, and the train station car park is also available. There is a wide variety of shops such as charity shop, a pharmacy, a couple of supermarkets and other shops.

Moreton in Marsh was a convenient location for a side trip...

Moreton in Marsh was a convenient location for a side trip from our visit to London. Very easy train access and a very walkable and charming little town. We used this location as a base of operations to tour some other Cotswolds towns and couldn't have been happier.

Excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds. Easily reached by train. Accomodations mostly in historical buildings along the (busy) main road. Large supermarkets and a lot of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Especially loved cocktails in the garden of the Manor House, breakfast and excellent coffee at Lynnwood and generous portions of italian at Bellinis.

Moreton on marsh is a beautiful town. There’s a market there on Tuesdays. Great places to eat gorgeous fish and chip bar. The black bear Inn fantastic food. Bellini Italian restaurant fantastic. Stay away from the Thai restaurant (SIAM COTTAGE THAI) cold food which we waited 1 hr and 15 minutes for. Service below poor. Plus if you order soft drinks (J2O) they share the bottle between 2 glasses and charge for 2. We used go guide to see around the Cotswolds Elaine the guide was fabulous we visited many places Bourton on the water, Snowshill where Bridget Jones (first one) was filmed, chipping Campden, Cirencester - Bibury etc

Lovely market town with plenty of pubs, restaurants and interesting little shops. Vey attractive. Not too commercialised. Saturday market. Nearby Batsford Arboretum and Snowhill Lavendar Farm are beautiful.

I stayed in room 2 and absolutely loved it! The decor is fantastic and loved the little touches, the hand soap and shower cream smell absolutely amazing! Loved the welcome basket and great selection of tea and coffee. It was so peaceful, you wouldn’t know there is a pub next door! Check in and out was easy…I had a very comfortable stay! It’s right on the high street so the shops, pubs and restaurants are on your doorstep with the open countryside just down the road. I had a really enjoyable stay.

The room we stayed in, was a four poster bedded room and it was just beautiful, a radio, complementary bathrobes,chocolate,biscuits,water were a lovely touch. Dinner was delicious absolutely perfect and the breakfast was lovely too. The staff were friendly and helpful. The town is served with tea shops/restaurants, art shops, charity shops etc and other towns within a few miles radius of the hotel, perfect for getting to see the Beautiful Cotswolds.
