Upon arriving on a cold November night, how lovely that the owner at his own cost, had left the heating on, so the house was lovely and cosy - thank you. The place is absolutely lovely, with nothing I could think of that wasn't provided. Nice touches in leaving coffee, tea, sugar and biscuits as well (perhaps leave some powdered milk/milk pots for future guests maybe?) and it was spotless. The double bed was super comfy and I had two lovely peaceful long sleeps. Check in was really easy and there was no need for contacting the owners, although they had left sufficient details to reach them, should they be needed. The conservatory was lovely and well furnished and Im sure a summer visit would be great, as it faces the sun in the afternoon. I had read reviews that the house had smelt 'doggy' due to the owners allowing pets, however I have to say there was NO animal odour whatsoever, so anyone reading that - it's a rogue comment! Honestly, it was perfect for me, staying to have a break from work and caring for an elderly relative, so my 'bolthole' rest at the coast was lovely, mainly thanks to the owners - well done guys, you have a lovely property and I wont hesitate to visit again :-)

The owners were fantastic - great sense of humour and very accommodating. I stayed for one night because of attending a wedding close by. The next morning I needed to set off too early for breakfast. I was offered the possibility of bacon and egg sandwiches to take on the road with me to ensure I ate something, which I appreciated and enjoyed! The room had everything I needed (and more), was super clean and the bed was one of the most comfy beds I've slept in for some years.

Mumby seemed a quite place which was a nice contrast to Ingoldmels where we were going to visit family and the kids went on the rides .The bungalow had fields behind it and we went a walk down a path nearby and saw some horses and ponies and further down the path a deer ran across to an orchard. We liked the local pub that did a great steak and ale pie with vegetables and mash. They also did a pizza night. I played poole with my grandson afterwards. They had a large connect four in the garden which we played. We went to a nice quite beach called Threddlethorpe beach which was massive.
