Location was perfect for us travelling from Bristol airport. Looks recently refurbished, room perfect for what we required and clean. Food in the bar/restaurant was decent value and delicious. Nice touch having coffee/breakfast items available for guests leaving early hours in the morning for Bristol airport. Staff were all helpful and friendly.

Lovely property in a great location. Beautifully appointed and well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Gill and Seamus are perfect hosts, very friendly and accommodating. The cottage has been finished to a very high standard. It was spotlessly clean and very cosy. The breakfast items, tea, coffee and milk were a real bonus. We will definitely be back.

It's just a 5-minute walk from the Bristol airport. The staff are nice. Food is good. The room is spacious and has all the amenities in it. I only stayed for a few hours, since it's only to spend the night coming from a flight, and to wait for the train home. I wish I would have stayed longer.

The extreme proximity to the airport makes it invaluable if you land late in the evening or have an early morning departure. My room was comfortable, and despite the road adjacent to the inn, I slept quite well. The breakfast was excellent, not included in the room price but available at a reasonable cost. You can also enjoy a great dinner in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

A lovely old building with individual chalet type rooms with en suite. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. we slept well, we ate well and we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay there again.

A great place to visit with the lovely small town of...

A great place to visit with the lovely small town of Clevedon close by with the 1930's pier, lovely local shops. Nailsea has a couple of really nice micro bars and wine bars. Also, a visit to Tyntesfield (National Trust) is a must!!

Good place when visiting places like Cheddar Gorge (WOW),...

Good place when visiting places like Cheddar Gorge (WOW), Tynefield house lovely and near to bath, wells, bristol. Cliffon suspension bridge is a must see although it showered on our visit we witnessed a beautiful rain bow reaching from one side of river to the other. highly recommend area safe and clean beautiful scenery.

Newly furnished and well equipped, nice garden and good off road parking. We enjoyed our one night stay… only, that for us, the bed was too soft and a bit too narrow, so not a good night’s sleep for us.

Were told today by friends that The George had recently changed hands and that local feeling was the pub had gone donwhill. It was clean, bed comfortable, but we were not expecting to eat breakfast in our room and the food provided was very poor. We used to live in the village and were expecting better service.

Great location if you are in a car. Friendly staff.

Great location if you are in a car. Friendly staff. Comfortable. Good value. For the price don't expect perfection. Nicer than staying in central Bristol and the price difference more than covers lots of car parking. Good for visiting Tyntesfield, SS Great Britain, Clifton and Bristol. No food Sunday evening but there is a Subway not far away (closes 8.00pm Sunday)

We stayed at the Rising Sun as an overnight stop. We ate there and would recommend others to do the same. No particular dislikes, friendly welcome, smart accommodation cosy dining area. Good anti covid measures in place.

Location excellent, easy to find as met with relatives in Nailsea. Nailsea is centrally placed to visit lots of lovely places including Bristol, Bath plus local attractions. The property is excellently appointed with a beautiful centrepiece of a Murano glass lightfitting (I love glass), everything you need in a kitchen, comfortable seating in the lounge areas and a well appointed bathroom. Richard is an extremely helpful and pleasant host.

The property was easy to find. Parking was easy but also it's a short walk from Nailsea and Backwell station. Very clean, modern, comfortable and well-equipped. Wifi and TV worked with no problems! Not always the case! Good pub serving food in walking distance.
