Location was great in the town a real traditional Suffolk...

Location was great in the town a real traditional Suffolk town , a real treat. Staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you. Menu and food is very well done with the standard of cooking top class completes to the chef every time, bar is well stocked with a good selection of local beer and cider as well as good wine list from around the world. Clean rooms , nice touch with local information on what to do and and see. Train and bus service easy to access. A real gem .

The hotel is in a perfect location however you should be aware of the town clock across the road. It is such a shame that they can’t do something about the chimes - 16 chimes at midnight. They do provide ear plugs but they don’t really work. The staff were lovely, the breakfast was lovely, the room was clean and warm. The car park was large.

The hotel was very clean and well presented and dinner was lovely. The staff are cheerful and very helpful. We had a room at the rear of the hotel so were not troubled by bells or street noise.
