From the moment we arrived at The Driftwood Greg and Lihong made us feel so welcomed. We arrived early and there was no issue in accessing our spotlessly clean room on the 2nd floor. The room was equipped with a fridge which was very handy for storing my insulin, a coffee machine, bottled water, extra towels and all the other nice things you get in high end hotels. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Great building, very clean and modern. Very good food. Great value I stayed here spontaneously when my girlfriend was unexpectedly admitted to a nearby hospital — Conquest. I was on holidays in the UK at the time and had to cancel my return flight and had run out of clean clothes. The hotel did not have a laundry service, but still washed, dried, and hung several t shirts and shirts in my room for me.

This our second time at this hotel, it's location is near to our family in Bexhill-on-Sea. The room, staff , and food at the restaurant are all excellent. We have tried other hotels in the area, but this far exceeds our expeditions, and needs. We will definitely be back, but next time we will stay longer so my husbannd, and brother in law can bring their golf clubs, and enjoy a round of golf.

She also gave us a great list of recommendations of National trust buildings. We visited them all. Yes, Petworth castle is the best.

The ambience of the hotel, it was welcoming and the staff made you feel at ease. Grounds were excellent to walk around as great countryside environment. Well run family establishment with adequate parking and excellent bar and restaurant, chill out zone in beer garden most conducive for my well being. The room was excellent and very comfortable.
