The bungalow was absolutely beautiful, very clean, specious and modern, perfect for a get away with friends or family. It had all the essentials everything you needed for your stay, with a beautiful large kitchen, dining table, huge 4 double bedrooms and even a utility room with a washer and dryer if needed. The garden was huge and great for ball games and family fun. The location was brilliant being 25 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from loads of supermarkets and shops.

The Chequers is a lovely little place to stay. The bed and sofa bed were really comfortable. We had breakfast at the pub, which was delicious, and Kim was very friendly. We will definitely be staying there again.

Amazing place and an Amazing host. Very helpful. Property is within 5 minutes drive to King’s Lynn and very well maintained. Room & Bathroom are very clean with all the essentials. Loved this place

I would not recommend this property to anyone.

I would not recommend this property to anyone. We stayed here as a large group of families, and the experience was incredibly disappointing. From the start, the property had blocked sinks, lights that didn’t work, and cobwebs everywhere a clear sign it hadn’t been properly cleaned or maintained. The lights were only fixed on the last night, which was pointless by then. When I raised these issues with the cleaners, they were rude, and when I took the matter to management, I was shocked at their response. Instead of addressing our concerns, they gave excuses and acted as if we were being unreasonable. When I mentioned I would leave an honest review, the manager actually said: “Don’t threaten me with a review, I’m not bothered about it.” That says everything about the level of service and care you can expect here. As a paying guest, I expect basic standards: cleanliness, working facilities, and professionalism. None of that was provided. I was embarrassed, especially as the organiser of the trip. I will not be staying here again and will be advising friends and family to do the same. Hopefully, this review encourages the host and management to take guest feedback seriously and make real improvements because right now, this place is nowhere near acceptable.
