Absolutely outstanding hotel—far above the rest in the area!- and only 10 minutes walk to the food stadium. For half the price of other nearby options, you get rooms that are twice the quality. Spacious, clean, and beautifully done—better than many so-called premium hotels. The food? Easily 5-star. Honestly, it topped what I’ve experienced at high-end hotels in Manchester and London. Exceptional value and top-tier service all around.

The hotel was sparkling clean, the staff friendly and efficient, and the twin room we had, great. Nice buffet included, starting at 6:30 if you have an early start. Couldn't ask for more.

Booked a Junior Suite quite last minute due to a family emergency, and the staff have been amazing from start to finish. Greeted warmly upon arrival, and staff went above and beyond with every question and request, no matter how small. The Lodge itself is beautiful, with a mixture of traditional limestone brickwork, wood, and a touch of modernity such as fitments. This is on top of the amazing views out of every window that I looked out of. The evening food, we weren't able to sample unfortunately, due to our own busy schedule, however, the cooked breakfast in the morning was phenomenal. Perfectly seasoned scrambled eggs, and perfectly cooked bacon. The whole plate was delicious. This is a diamond in Lancashire's crown, and we will be returning. Thank you for having us!

Hotel decor dated and tired.

Hotel decor dated and tired. Staff were brilliant, I found the hotel room old fashioned and not that clean. The wedding was very nice and the location of the hotel is spectacular. But I was disappointed with the actual rooms.

I visited for a family party, but I have visited the area...

I visited for a family party, but I have visited the area many times, Clitheroe Castle is great, only 5 miles, Pendle hill with skying slopes, lovely area. Padiham is a former mill town, a little run down but very friendly

There was nobody there to let us in. No response to email.provided. texted and called mobile number given but no response. After hanging around for a while I had to go and try to find a hotel for the night instead. Eventually found somewhere to stay. Furious. Was travelling with young daughter and to be abandoned like that was beyond unacceptable. When waiting outside house I noticed that house didn't look 'lived in' at all. Is this just a scam? I am contacting booking.com for a refund.

Beautiful location, had a room with comfy bed, walk-in shower, and a lovely view, nice garden with lots of birds, very helpful staff who offered to bring my luggage to my room, good choice on menu and well cooked and presented food, I have been staying at this hotel for several years and will continue to do so.

We had a great stay! The hotel is beautiful and even though we were spending the night in nearby Clitheroe, we were able to have a nice drink at the bar beforehand and the grounds are stunning. Special thanks to the lady on reception who was really lovely both on arrival and in the morning.

The apartment was cosy and warm (heating worked well). The beds were good. The TV is huge and has Netflix. The corner shop opposite was handy and it's an easy walk into Padiham for the supermark and restaurants. Good shower.

Dog friendly room away from the hotel in an annexe but definitely needs upgrading. Mentioned this to a member of staff on checkout and she said they are in the process of renovating it.
