The setting of this place is absolutely stunning, very peaceful despite there being lots of people there. The woodland escape suite was perfect, everything you needed, situated very close the main building and restaurant. The staff could not do enough and were lovely. Awesome place to stay, despite the bum clenching drive up the single track mountain to get to the house. (We are ladies of many advanced years) The welcome from Keith was fabulous. We stayed Tuesday night, hoping to have dinner... but no meals served Tues or Weds. Keith was more than obliging and made us Cheese on Toast. Love the honesty bar, and Bruno the adorable hound was more than happy to have us stay. Sygun Fawr is an awesome place steeped in history and set amongst breathtaking views.

Only take-away food establishments in the village plus a convenience store. Oakley Arms approximately 10 minute drive from the village serves excellent value for money meals though they only serve up to 8pm. There are other places to eat in Porthmadog. Ffestiniog railway passes through the village and there is a station though we did not use it. Good touring base for all North West Wales. Main road through the village is very narrow.

I surprised my husband with a 4 day honeymoon it was just perfect.. our host's at Ferlas bed & breakfast Jane & Rich where absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome... Breakfast was amazing. The house and views are out of this world.. all in all exceptional we cannot wait to visit again on our wedding anniversary next year.. 10 out of 10 Sonja & Ronnie

It was just around the corner from a busy main road so some big lorries went past and could be heard. Pedestrian crossing to get to main street tho so could cross safely. Very central to a lot of attractions,

The beautiful town, Portmeirion is around a 10 minute drive...

The beautiful town, Portmeirion is around a 10 minute drive away from the property, though no dogs are allowed here. Keep this in mind if you have your pooch with you. You'll find a lot of the beaches are dog friendly but do check as this changes summer time. I love North Wales! What a place.. I'd recommend everyone go here at least once.

Good location to visit many attractions and the town with a supermarket so you could pick up any groceries plus several eating places which is so convenient to grab food if you didn't want to cook. There's not much to do in the town itself but the house is warm and comfy after a day out walking or exploring.

A great pub with hotel rooms above, all very clean and well presented. Great menu on offer and good selection of drinks. There was some slight confusion on my arrival about type of room booked I.e double but only a single remained but that was absolutely no problem and was easily resolved. Enjoyed a comfortable nights sleep. The staff went out of their way to accomodate my request for safe storage for my bicycle. All the staff were super friendly and were very welcoming. Thank you.

Our two-night stay at Ferlas B&B in North Wales was fantastic. The location is perfect for exploring Porthmadog, Portmeirion, and Snowdonia National Park. Our room was beautiful, with a breathtaking view of Mount Snowdon. Jane, our host, was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The breakfast she prepared was exceptional—better than most hotels and on par with top restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

I chose this hotel as it was the best value for the money and near by for visiting family. its a pleasant hotel/pub and very clean and tidy. I was met by a nice lad who showed me everything i needed. they are big rooms and have everything you'll need for one or two nights.
