As I arrived in the early evening, the bar was very lively and happy, full of people and happy dogs! The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant space and the bar are tasteful and cosy. The next morning, their English breakfast was excellent, much better than in any other hotel I stayed in during my trip, in my opinion.

Such a gorgeous, historical building. we were in room 3 so a ghost had been reported previously. Ironically it kicked the husband while the wife was in the bath. I was hoping the big unit might have copped the same treatment! it was well worth the visit.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Great building, very clean and modern. Very good food. Great value I stayed here spontaneously when my girlfriend was unexpectedly admitted to a nearby hospital — Conquest. I was on holidays in the UK at the time and had to cancel my return flight and had run out of clean clothes. The hotel did not have a laundry service, but still washed, dried, and hung several t shirts and shirts in my room for me.
