Nice and quiet on Sunday , took us back a few decades, fair amount of through traffic in the week but nothing compared to where we live. Plenty of history , the museum is very touching and full of wartime information , the gentleman on duty was very knowledgeable , it's just a very nice Wiltshire village with the canal nearby and the pretty river Avon trickling along through woods and villages . We ate at a couple of pubs , they were fine and also at the village charity cafe , the co.op was great , plenty of stock and their air con was amazing.😊

This trip was a trip down memory lane.

This trip was a trip down memory lane. The area is scenic and the locals are friendly. Facilities and shops in the village are good. This is a large village that has expanded over the years but does not appear to have lost its old identity

We were there to visit a friend.

We were there to visit a friend. But it is an interesting village on the Avon. Church historically interesting. On a Monday morning very difficult to find a cup of coffee, tried The Lunch Box but do not recommend, strong smell of fatty grease and coffee pretty awful.
