Lovely location excellent shepherds hut with full kitchen very well planned out and finished to a high standard. Bi folding door brings the outside in very cosy on an evening. We had one night with our grandkids toasting marsh mallows on the fire pit and the second night bbq and a few glasses of the old Sauvignon blanc. Fantastic weekend and fantastic property.

The location was country side beauty. Small village of Cranage. Supplies at shops were only a mile away at Holmes Chapel. The parking was excellent. Plenty of parking. The estate is huge. Rooms clean, foyer and adjoining sitting rooms were very beautiful yet I paid about 140 or so pounds for 2 nites. Double room. Exceptional value for money. Aside from the stately estate and grandeur feeling..the best part was a super comfortable firm bed. The pillows and the doona were quality compared to some of the other places I stayed at on my UK trip. This was class..and very affordable. I enjoyed it. The front desk staff were very friendly. I don't know about the room cleaning staff as I didn't get my room made up for the 2 nites I stayed. They were smiley and said hello though Very good experience. I'd recommend people to stay here.
