We were looking for a quiet farm B&B and The Church Farm B&B was perfect. Ruth is fantastic, a genuinely wonderful person. She was great with suggestions, helpful hints, friendly, and an amazing cook. Best eggs Benedict I've ever had and it is my go to all over the world. The room was carefully decorated with great taste, very comfortable, high quality products provided, food was all fresh, local, and delicious. It is an actual working farm and fun to wander around. It was perfectly located for the area we chose to explore, was quiet, and sooo comfortable. Thank you!

The location was advantageous being in a peaceful village in deep countryside but not far from attractive towns such as Long Melford. The loft rooms were cosey, comfortable and very well provided. Scott and his wife were excellent hosts and most helpful and the meal was very enjoyable. The Queen's Head has plenty of character and agreeable ambiente.

The hosts were welcoming, friendly and fun. They chatted and shared places to go, we sat one evening with them and it felt like we were staying with friends. Ancient architecture, huge fire place, lovely gardens to sit in. Highly highly recommend. We are going back for sure. Fresh food, wide variety, good coffee…. And two gorgeous cats. Loved it!

Comfortable accommodation attached to, but entirely independent from, the house. Wonderfully comfortable bed (we slept like logs), well-equipped shower room, fenced terrace overlooking the garden and a secure paddock across the drive wherein our dog could race around to his heart’s content; parking immediately outside. We walked into the village for an early evening drink at The Crown (the pub had various seating options, as well as an enticing menu). All we could hear was birdsong there and back; the location really is idyllic. Dogs abound - in the pub, being walked, at Giffords Hall … our dog was in heaven. Plenty of footpaths. WiFi in this area isn’t the best, but that didn’t detract from the enjoyment of our overnight stay. This part of Suffolk is well worth exploration.
