I travel to Redruth as I have family living there. Its a lovely little town - very handy to get to the coast and the beautiful countryside. Would highly recommend. Redruth, like some other Cornish towns is struggling.
Redruth, like some other Cornish towns is struggling. Lots of empty shops and charity shops. Close to the A30, so it’s easy to go north south east or west . No real eateries . Within 4 miles you have Portreath which is a great place to spend a sunny day.Guest review byDave kUnited Kingdom - 6.0

The room was lacking of air conditioning and I had to open a big and wide window for air during the night. Unfortunately i cant rate the town of Redruth very high.this is due to how steep the main shopping street is. If you have mobility issues dont shop in Redruth. But once you manage to get to the top of the street there are buses that can take you on lovely journeys to places like Truro, Penzance and surrounding areas all for a fiver day ticket. Plus there is a train station if you fancy a train ride.
