We came as a family of which part were going to the Goodwood Festival of Speed. We were welcomed and given keys to our four rooms immediately. Two in the old part of the hotel and two in the modern block at the back. The rooms were full of character, charm,clean, quite spacious and had everything needed. We ate dinner one evening and the food was excellent. Special mention to the Bar Manager who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. He kept checking on us and arranged the lounge area so we could all sit together and chat. Always cheerful and attentive.

We had a very good time staying at Woodshed with a wonderful view from the windows for five nights. There were lots to see around there. We enjoyed watching various birds and lovely spring flowers. Shannon and Jack were so kind and helpful to us. We'd like to come back again.

Very comfortable/well appointed Bedroom/Cabin located at the rear of the garden adjacent to the car park. Exceptional Inn with a relaxed and informal atmosphere and friendly staff, we only booked for 1 night as a stopover but wished we had stayed longer. Evening Meal and Breakfast were both delicious and our dog Flora also enjoyed our stay and the local walks.

This place is perfect in every way and so much more than I expected. Owner was lovely and on hand if needed, location was perfect for looking at stars and just enough out of the way. Hut was exceptional as was the hot tub and pool. Can't wait to come back.

Little Hawthorns is an absolutely delightful annex which ,at the time of my stay, was bright and airy and cozy on my return in the evening. Everything you could hope for was available and in the fridge was milk, butter and fresh local eggs. Fresh sourdough bread, a variety of teas and a cafeteria and coffee and in the bathroom, although compact it was beautifully set out and the shower was perfect.
