We had a fabulous stay at this gorgeous cottage. It was perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 kids). The location in the heart of St Abbs meant we could access the beach within minutes. Parking was easy. The amenities inside the cottage were plenty. The beds were very comfortable. The hosts were very hospitable and checked in to make sure everything was OK with our stay. It was absolutely outstanding value for money and we are already thinking about our next stay!

The cottage was perfect for our family of 4. The kids had a lovely, cosy room each while we had a lovely ground-floor room with a comfy bed. All of the facilities were great, but best of all was the location. Quiet yet near to the centre of St Abbs, 5 mins walk from a gorgeous beach...just perfect! Plenty of walks to do and things to see. We are already looking forward to going back!

Booked an overnight stay with friends for a wedding, the woman on the reception let us check in early which was excellent and the room was cleaned to a very high standard with bottled water, biscuits and tea & coffee facilities, set in an excellent location and great value for money!

Great location- pretty close to town and beach plus a service station that sells coffee/ food items. It was super clean/ good sized room, reasonably priced. Jug and tea/ coffee provided.

The caravan was spotless throughout on arrival and full of amenities. The owner was also quick to respond via messageing for any questions i had. The park was well maintained in all areas. Also, being able to take the dog was awesome, too, as the parks position near the beach and stunning views of the sea were just spot on. I will definitely be returning near the summer..

We bit challenging path to the beach because I am 75 and...

We bit challenging path to the beach because I am 75 and have a drop foot. But just drove to the car park next to surf shop. That was fine. Nice to see the sense in not charging for the use of the car park.

Lovely quiet little village off the beaten track.

Lovely quiet little village off the beaten track. Though we missed them, there were reports on one of the days of our stay that two pods of Orca's had been seen just offshore. Cafe's very good. Though not suitable for very young children the walk to St Abbs Lighthouse is well worth it and takes about an hour. Coldingham Sands beach is excellent with children

Lovely quiet little harbour village, beautiful scenery and walks, great for a quiet relaxing getaway. Scenery along St Abbs head and lighthouse walk is breathtaking. All the people I met were friendly and welcoming, there are 2 cafes but be warned there is no pub if that is a requirement for you.

St Abbs is the most beautiful little fishing village and a joy to visit. My ancestors came to Australia from St Abbs in 1912 so I have a very strong family connection. I can feel this history in the village. The cliff walk to the lighthouse was a definite highlight and definitely recommended

St Abbs is a quiet little coastal village with a small harbour that caters to fishing boats and diving trips. The village is a lovely quiet and friendly place everyone I met said hello. The surrounding coastline is breathtaking and has lots of coastal walks. Coldingham bay is just a 10 minute walk with a nice large beach. There are 2 cafe’s in St Abbs both nice the old school house one is dog friendly which was perfect for us

Peaceful harbour residence, local amenities shop/post office...

Peaceful harbour residence, local amenities shop/post office, couple cafes to refuel your onward journey. Active Harbour has its own lifeboat station and one of the cafes near its entrance. Parking available at Harbour for those making a visit by vehicle. For those arriving on foot plenty of coastal paths from St.Abbs location to view the dramatic volcanic coastline. Head northwards to St.Abbs head, lighthouse position, Mire Loch to walk around too.
