Have been visiting St Agnes since early childhood so quite a few decades, I am happy to see it has hardly changed over the years although has spread outside the village considerably. If you like a quaint uncommercial stay it has lots to offer restaurants and pubs all serve good food, beach is good for surfing but expect a hilly walk from car park!

St. Agnes is still very much a lived in village.

St. Agnes is still very much a lived in village. It is quite spread out and hilly, and the pavements for walking are narrow. There are lovely beaches near by and wonderful walks. The cafes and pubs are friendly.

St Agnes is a beautiful north Cornwall coastal village in stunning scenery. So many great places to eat and shops to get essential supplies. Beaches and picturesque walks abound nearby. Parking could at times be tricky (peak season mainly), but there are several car parks in the village. There is a very good bus service to/from the village. Great places for food and to eat include the St Agnes Bakery, Shellfish Beach Delli, Tap House, St Agnes Hotel, Fission Chip Shop, The Cornish Pizza Company, Driftwood Spars, Railway Inn and many more.

St Agnes is a charming town with a beautiful coastline.

St Agnes is a charming town with a beautiful coastline. The coastal path is quite steep but the views are lovely - well worth the effort! The beach is sandy - great for children. The beach loos were very clean. The local people are really friendly and the award winning pub definitely deserves its recognition. We ate there three times. The bread from the local bakery was delicious. The two cafes we visited were very good and reasonably priced. I would definitely visit again.

St Agnes is a fabulous town/village.

St Agnes is a fabulous town/village. It has a real lived in feel, and doesn't seem to be populated by too many second home owners or holiday homes, ( I know, I was on holiday). The town hasn't, so far, been too spoilt by the building of innapropriate modern houses which blight a lot of this coastline, (whoever grants planning permission for these dreadful glass and faux wood fronted houses?). The two supermarkets are well stocked as is the butchers and a visit to St Agnes bakery is a treat. A walk up to the beacon is a must for all visitors. To be honest, I've always been a North Devon fan, but St Agnes has stolen my heart.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in, the staff were so lovely and welcoming which made our stay so much better. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel was extremely clean. We were celebrating a special occasion and the staff gave us a card and a bottle of Prosecco which just shows just how exceptional their customer service is. They gave us advice on where to visit and the best locations to watch the sunset which was appreciated. Definitely coming back next year :)

A very warm welcome with homemade cake & coffee sat in the beautiful conservatory was so welcome after our journey. The bedroom lacked nothing, so many little extras you could possibly need supplied. Rachel made us feel so special throughout our stay, homemade gin & fudge hearts as a nightcap & a goodie bag for our journey home. Breakfast was served like a five star hotel with a homemade touch of beautiful bread & preserves. Best bed & breakfast ever,!
