We were absolutely delighted with our stay! My daughter and I had a wonderful experience in every way. The staff were always extremely kind and helpful, both at the reception and in the pub where we had breakfast and dinner. The food was also a lovely surprise—delicious and exactly to our taste. The place is beautiful, welcoming, and conveniently located near a bus stop, which made getting around very easy. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped—we didn’t miss a thing. The bathroom was spotless, and every day we returned to find the room just as perfect as on the first day. We’re truly satisfied and have no doubt: next time we visit Manchester, we’ll definitely come back to this special place!

The place was absolutely spotless it was so clean I wanted to take my shoes off to walk into the bar!! We were greeted by the most welcoming staff they couldn’t do enough for us. The beautiful man that cooked our Pizza is one of the loveliest humans I’ve ever met!! Our room was clinically clean and all linens were perfect. Nice big TV on the wall and bathroom was new. We will definitely be back even if it’s only for a beautiful Pizza.

We booked the suite for the night. The room was really clean and tidy and loved the hidden bookshelf door to the bathroom. The staff are exceptional, nothing is too much for them. The food at the restaurant was fantastic as again were the staff. The breakfast was really good too. Will 100% recommend and stay again. Thank you to all the staff at The Rake
