Clean n comfortable. Food options in the area were easily available. The train station was close by. Tip: Each room should have extra external buzzers so food deliveries and other visitors can get to where they need faster rather than buzzing through to the Receptionist….who incidentally was very helpful!!!

Their unwavering helpfulness and kind attitude added a warm touch to the overall experience, making my stay truly enjoyable. Special mention to Ebony for texting and informing me ahead of the restaurant closure on a snowy day. That helps a lot. Thank you, Ebony. We love the location of the hotel right inside the golf area too which had only 8 twin rooms.

We were visiting friends and family in the area, so Shepley...

We were visiting friends and family in the area, so Shepley was a convenient central point with easy access by car or train. There's nothing in Shepley that would encourage you to visit specifically, but it was a good central point for our needs. Food shopping at the forever open Coop mini market and a Chinese/Thai takeaway resolve hunger issues if you have a kitchen available. Also there are so many good pubs and restaurants in nearby towns and villages that you'd need a lifetime to try them all. However, avoid the Black Bull in Shepley. It's the antithesis of the welcoming Yorkshire pub - horrible boutique beers and a high proportion of drunken customers among the few we found on Saturday night.
