The service from the staff was excellent - we were staying with our 6 month old baby and my elderly father and they did their utmost to make our stay as comfortable as possible, despite our various requirements (washing baby bottles daily, having to bring some breakfast for my dad at York Hospital). We had dinner twice at The Rise and although the first time we enjoyed an average meal, the second time, where we were a group of 13 for my graduation dinner, was fantastic.

The staff was very friendly and allowed us to check in early and left our luggage after that. The breakfast was superb with a variety of choices. Free flow of coffee, tea and chocolate drinks. The shared bathroom/toilet was clean. Easily reachable by bus.
