The Swan Hotel is magnificent. The rooms are cozy, well-decorated, and clean. Every day we had cookies, coffee, pods, and tea. The rooms overlooking the river are wonderful. Great breakfast, both continental and English. We dined at the restaurant and stayed the pub – everything was excellent: the food, the beer, the service and the atmosphere. The staff was very kind, professional, and helpful.

This place is a gem of find for me. Cheiniz waited up late for me to arrive so she could show me around the accommodation which was great. My room was lovely. It had plenty of wardrobes with hangers, large mirror with power sockets underneath, a tv inside one of the wardrobes, sockets at the side of the bed and multi charger. You have use of the kitchen which has tea/coffee, cereals and milk in the fridge. Also the bathroom is very nice too, very clean. I will definitely be back again, thanks for lovely stay Cheiniz. X

Booked this hotel last minute because our flight was canceled at the last moment. London was too far to go back to because we had an early flight in the morning again. Wanted to end the nice weekend with a nice hotel. And that it was indeed! Beautiful surroundings, beautiful hotel. Would never of thought of it - used to staying in London - but this is definitely something to keep in mind for the next visit. Beautiful rooms, good service.

Staines, like most towns in the UK is suffering from decline of the traditional high street. This is mainly due to out of town shopping centres and large supermarkets. Very good market in the high street on a Saturday.

Staines was close to the attractions we wished to visit (Legoland and Chessington) and had a range of takeaways, restaurants and shops near to our accommodation. Parking was available locally and it made a good base for travel.

Well located for access to from M25/M3/Heathrow.

Well located for access to from M25/M3/Heathrow. It was a good base for a 2 day visit to Windsor & then Twickenham. Trains run regularly to both. Town was well facilitated with shops, food outlets both major and independent businesses

Lovely location near the river Thames which was nice to walk by in the morning and evenings. Good local area with shops and restaurants and the train station goes straight into London. Really easy to access nearby transport links and Heathrow airport too.

We stayed in Staines because it's close to Windsor and we...

We stayed in Staines because it's close to Windsor and we were visiting the castle. The view of the river Thames from our hotel (The Swan) was lovely. It was interesting to watch so many different boats, kayaks and barges passing by. We went for a short walk around the hotel and everything looked clean and very serene.

They said this is the hotel you are looking have you booked through booking .com as we keep getting people with wrong info from booking .com WE ALSO THINK THE BREAKFAST WAS TO EXPENSIVE SO WE WENT OUT FOR BREAKFAST

The staff were brilliant and although check in was a little confusing initially due to a mix up on my end everything was smoothly worked out and the hotel was beautiful and in a perfect location. There was everything you could possibly need within a ten walk (bus station, train station, shopping centre, food/shopping village)

Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and really nice staff. I loved the air conditioning as it was hot. Bonus of having a pub/restaurant right across the road. Town was only across the bridge but I don’t know the area so stayed near the hotel. I liked that the river Thames was right there.
