The room was very well appointed and thought out. The bathroom even had a heated floor. The bed was very comfortable and there were complimentary drinks and snacks provided. We had a lovely dinner in the pub.

They brought us breakfast in bed which wasn’t an option but they bent over backwards to help; having been pushed for time, cannot wait to be back one day and fully relax and soak it all in

Excellent location in the city center, great restaurant on the ground floor; breakfast was very tasty (not many different options though) with delicious coffee and natural juices. All major sightseeing objects located in the walking distance (Stirling castle, Old Town Jail etc). There was a kettle with some coffee and tea it the room, as well as hair dryer and ironing board.

Stirling is a great city for people interested in history and craft - the castle is unique and full of treasures, such as re-created tapestries, carving and decoration. The bus station is a short walk from the castle and shopping streets, and there are several park and rides.

The history of Stirling, it’s pivotal setting as the link between the Highlands and lowland Scotland, it’s Royal connections and it’s impressive buildings made our first visit here memorable. We will certainly come again to explore further. The castle, the Holy Rood church and the historic old river bridge and site of the battle in 1297 (?) were the highlights for us.

The fact that we stayed beside the grounds of the Battle of Bannockburn was fantastic, great history, unfortunately the visitor centre was closed during our stay. We were there for the history and were not disappointed, taking in the Stirling Castle, Wallace Monument, Battle of Bannockburn, The Kelpies, and the Falkirk Wheel. Having a rental vehicle with built in navigation was a bonus and made getting around so much easier than if doing so strictly by map.

Stirling is a beautiful historic town with many fun sites to see. I needed more time to see them all. Stirling Castle should have a shuttle service bringing people up to the castle, Very limited parking and not conducive if you have a person with walking issues. Plan ahead. Maybe go later in the afternoon when there are less people.

The location was perfect for what we wanted to see (Stirling Castle and surrounding area). It was within walking distance of all the "tourist" shops and many historic sites. It was also a great value for the location. I looked at a couple of other hotels in the immediate area and they were more expensive. A couple of other small things I liked were the car park right behind the hotel (for guests only), the breakfast, and the spacious bathroom with the amazing towel warmer. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Good quality campus accommodation. Room was clean and comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite shower room. No TV in the room but there was one in the shared lounge/kitchen, where you could cook meals if you wanted. Stirling University campus is a beautiful location. Good quality breakfast was served in the Stirling Court Hotel on the other side of the campus, about a 5-10 minute walk from Willow Court.
