I had a wonderful stay! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. My room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. Not to mention the exceptional restaurant (listed in the Michelin Guide, which speaks for itself) and the beautiful Sunday roast I enjoyed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Derbyshire!

We stayed here for a family wedding. The room, the hotel facilities and the breakfast the following morning were excellent. We were able to check into our room early, which really helped.get ready for the wedding. The setting is beautiful, peaceful.and surrounded on every side by great views.

    It's a very convenient location for exploring Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Very rural and peaceful. Thie locals are very welcoming and friendly. It's convenient for hidden gems off the beaten track such as dethick. There are plenty of reasonably priced places to eat out.
