This was always a characterfull place in a good location, but this time, unde rnew management, it had been comprehensively and stylishly refurbished both in the public areas and in the room, while keeping in the spirit of the place: it now feels and looks much more luxurious than it used to. Loved the place! The kind of maze leading to the rooms, the old pub downstairs, lovely room! The staff was super friendly, they let me leave my big backpack before the check in time and later helped me bring it to my room!:) The pub itself was really nice too - with their own range of beers!:) loved the room interior, and the fact it was so cosy and full of anything you might need!:) if Im ever again in Exeter that will be the place to come back to!:))
