A bright and comfortable home, spotlessly clean and nicely decorated with a seaside theme. It had everything we needed for our stay. The owner Jo was lovely and very easy to contact if necessary. I was travelling with my adult son and the house having two bedrooms with (very comfortable) double beds was one of the main reasons I chose this property. We loved our stay, the location was perfect, the atmosphere relaxing and we both felt we could happily visit again.

Tintagel sadly has been really spoilt by its popularity.

Tintagel sadly has been really spoilt by its popularity. It is heaving! I would never visit again in the summer time, although locals say everything shuts up in the winter. Stunning scenery is still accessible if you are fit enough. Clambouring over the castle is overrated and very expensive, The bridge is an engineering feat, worth seeing from below or at a distance. I won't give recommendations as they will become overcrowded!

Beautiful and fascinating location but need to know there is a significant climb involved to reach ruins and very steep path on return to the town. Not suitable for those who have difficulty walking, especially in hot weather.

Lovely quirky little village, lots of interesting locals.

Lovely quirky little village, lots of interesting locals. However, the main street is very narrow which doesn't stop people parking in a thoughtless manner, like on the bends, just to access shops quicker. People also have the habit of either walking on the road or getting off the pavements in front of oncoming traffic. The fish and chips shop is worth a visit.... or 2= delicious!!

We had a twin room and double room right by each other. The beds are soooo comfortable!!! Showers are amazing. The property is quaint with an interesting maze to the rooms. There’s the expected squeaks and creaks in such an old building but it does not in any way feel old. It’s also just steps from the path to Tintagel Castle, a great bakery, fantastic restaurants, stores and convenient parking areas right there in the Main Street. Beautiful little town. Highly recommend.

The Cornishman Inn is almost as close as you can get to Tintagel Castle without being at the 1899 Camelot Castle Hotel, so is ideally placed for visiting the ruins. There's ample parking at the rear of the establishment (.. that I wasn't aware of, hence ended up paying for a day's parking at the large parking lot across the street..)

Magnificent setting, so close to Tintagel Castle and with its own majestic outlook. The hotel common areas are charming, warm and a little quirky - plenty of places to sit with a wine or cuppa, in privacy or company. Wonderful welcoming staff who all appeared to love their jobs and care about their guests.

It was a pleasure to stay here. The hotel is right on the headland so visiting Tintagel Castle was easy. There is plenty of parking and the shops and pubs are a 5-minute walk. The owner was lovely, friendly, and cooked a superb breakfast. The room had everything I needed.
