Lovely period property hunting lodge thoughtfully decorated to reflect the buildings history. The room was immaculate and beds very comfy. Good shower too. Quiet setting with nice views beyond its own grounds. The owners are nice people and couldn’t be more helpful.

In Cairngorm National Park, The Boat Country Inn and Restaurant has a restaurant, Wi-Fi access and elegant rooms. Aviemore can be reached in 10 minutes by car.

The economy room was much better than we expected. It was spacious and comfortable so much nicer than many hotel rooms. The room was also lovely and warm and cosy. Alan in the restaurant was exceptional and went out of his way to assist us even though he was very busy.

Owner of the hotel is a very passionate and kind man. Tell him your travel plans and he will have great tips for your stays. Recommended us multiple beautiful locations. Comfortable beds, bath / shower, good TV, overall a great room. Free parking. Wee pub and great restaurant are part of the hotel. Would highly recommend!

This was a return visit for me and the high standard was as I relèverez if. The team are professional yet warmly approachable, bedrooms and bathrooms beautifully appointed and the public spaces are perfect for relaxing. The dinner was impeccable and breakfast excellent.
