Only stopped for the night as we were doing the first Polar Express ride in the morning. Great base for the railway as it is literally 10 minutes down the road. Property was warm and comfortable, had everything you needed.

It exceeded my expectations for the budget price that we had to pay. I was blown away with what we had for the cost of our stay. £40 for two people and there was a sauna, a gym, a steam room. Although budget it's 100% worth and value for money, but remember it is a budget. Stay bear that in mind the holiday is what you make it. We met some wonderful people. Thank you for this day. I would definitely go back. The atmosphere was great

We loved everything about our stay with Ian and Jan. The chalet was gorgeous and had everything we needed. The hosts even left us fresh eggs from the chickens, milk, juice, butter and bread. We cooked our own meals in the kitchen - which was fully equipped with everything you might need. The bed was also very comfortable and the view was breathtaking.

The property was very clean, perfect location for anyone visiting Alton towers, very comfy beds, lovely village, quiet, it had all of the appliances and supplies we needed for travelling with our baby, modern but also a nice homey cottage atmosphere.
