A super little hotel in a wonderful country location.

A super little hotel in a wonderful country location. Lovely grounds surrounded by fields with sheep grazing nearby. Quiet and peaceful with only the occasional toot from a steam train in the distance. The room was great, exceptionally clean with so much attention to detail to make sure we were comfortable. This is one hotel which we will be returning to time and time again!

The village is a quiet place by the river Severn and it has lots of nearby walks to go on, and it has a station across the river for the Severn valley railway. We found it was a good base for trips around the local area.

We stayed here whilst we visited the Ludlow Food Festival on Saturday 14 September. We dined at a restaurant in Cleobury Mortimer on one evening & at the wonderful Tea Rooms on the estate at lunchtime on our arrival.
