They're scammers.

They're scammers. I paid through booking.com and I was there but to be told over the phone for an additional £150 . They promised a refund, which they didn't. They completely ruined my night

Walsall is a really nice place with excellent hotels, pubs & restaurants. Fantastic shopping and some real nice places outside by the waterside. lots of individual eating places and so many pubs, I love the place.

Some people may find that the M6 motorway side of the hotel a little noisy if they are a light sleeper, but that didn't affect me. As the hotel has good sound-proofing. Hotel is situated near a bus route for travelling either into Walsall or Wolverhampton. Food and alcoholic drinks are very reasonable in this establishment and of good quality

Didn't like the hotel as we discovered when we tried to check-in that they had given away our family room, so we had no where to stay that evening. They tried to offer us a double room, with only 1 double bed, which would not have been adequate for 2 adults & 2 kids. Hotel didn't phone me to check on our arrival time before they decided to give away our family room. Very poor service, won't be booking this hotel again!

Like so many towns right now, the centre was once bustling but has lost so many shops and has the sort of barriers to prevent terrorists and ram-raiders in vehicles, so depressing. On the plus side there is a fantastic art gallery, a leather museum, the beautiful "Arboretum" park, a decent Wetherspoons plus another real-ale pub "The Pretty Bricks", plentiful rail and bus transport and easy access to The Black Country Living Museum, Aldridge Transport Museum, Cannock Chase and Birmingham.

It was handy for me to meet up with a friend.

It was handy for me to meet up with a friend. Like so many towns it looks run down and the shopping area lacks any interest. Not many places to eat/restaurants that I could find. Nice Wetherspoons saved the day.

Very good communication with owners, parking on street free on side road, clean inside communal areas, room practically newly decorated, well furnished and modern, fantastic security at front door and room door, my phone died with code on and they were happy to help us! Perfect overnight stay, no hassle, friendly, cheap and cheerful.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast choice limited but the generous, freshly-cooked 'full English' was excellent. Ample tea & coffee making in bedrooms. Central location within walking distance of town centre and free parking is a plus. Good pub atmosphere and quality beer in the bar!

Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Cheap hotel (I paid £30 for a single room) and does the job for the price. Breakfast was delicious.
