We stayed in a fantastic 74-square-meter suite. Everything was beautifully designed and of high quality—from the duvets to the towels. The bed was large and very comfortable, the bathroom spacious, and the garden outside was lovely. Everything felt truly luxurious. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, all in a stunning dining room. Parking the car was also easy.

Congratulations to the people of Watchet, despite the road to Blue Anchor being closed due to coastal erosion, the town has pulled together with some great local events. The harbour is much improved, and thanks to those local businesses that donated to the events. Be sure to have a meal at The Star, and a visit to Pebbles bar for live music.

Watchet is a really attractive little harbour town where the locals are friendly and there is a strong sense of community. There are a handful of pubs and hotels, some of which serve food, as well as art galleries, museums, and a heritage railway station where you can take steam train rides. In summer there is a local weekly market and other community events. This is also an excellent walking area close to the Quantocks and Exmoor.

Nice little place to walk around, the arts centre was friendly & quirky there's a few interesting shops and the harbour and beach in December were cold but pretty. None of the restaurants seemed to be open on a Friday evening before Xmas which is fair enough but we just hadn't anticipated - the one busy pub restaurant which looked to have a proper kitchen and was inviting and cosy was fully booked - we should have organised ourselves & prebooked

Ideally placed for visits to Dunster Castle, Cleeve Abbey or Coleridge's cottage. The town has a great little museum covering a most interesting history of Watchet and it's principal former industries. A much more interesting place than we had expected. It also has a nicely kept esplanade and attractive harbour. No shortage of places to eat there and thereabouts depending on your budget.

Watchet, is a beautiful, little known, harbour town . It has cute shops and cafes. The view across the harbour flood bay and Bristol Channel is delightful. Lovely steam train and station is central to the harbour area. We know this area well as my in laws live nearby. The surrounding countryside is stunning. Rolling Medip hills and the Quantocks, then Exmoor also. The Nelson hotel and pub has great food and a really good carvery.
