A lovely old hotel, beautifully restored. Very large rooms. Delightful staff. Right next to Taunton station. Perhaps the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at. No pretensions of being a palace, just really nice and comfortable

We had a lovely stay and the staff were superb - so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and the roast was amazing. The hotel is beautiful and relaxing. I would whole heartedly recommend staying with you. Thank you so much.

Breakfast was beyond my expectations - I'm veggie and the alternative options were excellent. I also had an evening meal with a group of 20- served promptly and food again was delicious. Facilities in the room were great, hot chocolate, tea and coffee end biscuits. Overall I great place to stay.

The hotel is simple but well planned and for it's price excellent value. The staff were all friendly and helpful. My single room was larger than most and was clean with all amenities. I was able to eat a good breakfast at Morrisons around the corner.

It was absolutely perfect for us and our dogs, it had an...

It was absolutely perfect for us and our dogs, it had an enclosed garden out of a door from the lounge. They also had a large area for exercising the dogs and provided a poo bin. The dogs loved that they provided a water bowl on a mat and a pot of dog treats. For us, the owners had gone the extra mile and provided everything we needed, and nothing was too much trouble. Planning our trip next year.
