It exceeded my expectations for the budget price that we had to pay. I was blown away with what we had for the cost of our stay. £40 for two people and there was a sauna, a gym, a steam room. Although budget it's 100% worth and value for money, but remember it is a budget. Stay bear that in mind the holiday is what you make it. We met some wonderful people. Thank you for this day. I would definitely go back. The atmosphere was great

Abbey and her husband were so friendly and helpful when checking us in. We were welcomed into their home and had a cosy private room with a modern ensuite. Hotel is in a lovely setting, plenty of parking, and very tastefully decorated. Lovely views, and spacious restaurant, bar, and bedrooms. Very close to Alton Towers. Not signposted from main road so we had a bit of a tour of the village before we found it.

Good value for money and a lovely overnight stay for us.

Good value for money and a lovely overnight stay for us. A clean, comfortable room with good facilities. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. The staff were first class- very friendly and helpful. You enter the hotel from a rear car park, which doesn’t give the best first impression, but once in the main reception area you are re-assured. The hotel is on a very quiet, peaceful location. It is not sign-posted at all from the A52 through Whiston, which is not ideal especially as the turning into the very narrow lane is tight and not obvious.

Delitefull place to stay with gorgeous scenery and lots to do being close to Alton towers and a golf course on site with the first tee only 30 meters from the front door. Look forward to our next stay.

Excellent. Couldn't fault the stay. Staff were exceptional. Food looked and tasted fantastic. Alton towers was less than 10mins away. Thank you to the staff who decorated our room for my girlfriends 40th birthday. Totally shocked when she opened the door; balloons, card and prosecco.

Whiston Hall was one of the friendliest places we’ve stayed. The staff went above & beyond to welcome us, make us comfortable & check everything was to our liking. Breakfast was spot on, rooms were comfortable & clean. It’s ideally located for Alton Towers, just a short drive on a lovely country road. Dinners at their twin-pub The Star at Cotton were superb. With the same excellent service. Fantastic trip. Highly recommended stay.

Accommodating, friendly and really helpful staff. The front of the hotel had a great view. Alton Towers was just under 15 mins away in the car. The room had everything we needed and I especially liked the spacious bathroom. The full English breakfast was really nice and the evening meal was fantastic.

Friendly family run hotel, perfect spot for us, facilities all as described, old hall so not a flashy new square boxed accommodation but we wouldn’t book those type accommodations. Loved the atmosphere there. Staff great.
