View wasn’t the best, but for 1 night ok, breakfast was delicious and I’d had a wonderful bath the night before and dinner in the restaurant which was again delicious. Took a bit of thought to get the heating on (managed in the end) and there was a bottle in the bin - an oversight I’m sure. Didn’t detract from my stay!!

The mobile home was great. It was all so lovely and clean and Louisa provided us with all the basic necessities.. The location was great near long walks to the pier and along the beach but also just a short drive or walk to lots of facilities which always makes travelling with a young family easy..

I loved the whole style and comfort of the shepherds hut. I had a great time there and the local area is nice with a good pub across the road and a deli/cafe also. Just a short walk to the rest of Whitstable. Great bus links to places like tankerton and Canterbury. I would definitely recommend the Oyster Bed hut to anyone.

I grew up near Whitstable and having moved away from Kent 20 years ago, I always love visiting this area again when visiting family in Canterbury/Whitstable. The town has developed nicely - it makes the most of the harbour area and the town itself now has some lovely boutique shops and a good range of interesting places to visit, including some lovely restaurants and cafes. There's always a buzz there and I enjoy being there, whatever the weather. It's not somewhere I'd choose for sunbathing (not that sort of beach) but for shopping, eating, general wandering and taking in some sights, it's always a lovely place to visit.

Whitstable is pleasant seaside town.

Whitstable is pleasant seaside town. It has many small independent shops which means a better variety of goods are available. The high street is narrow but has two way traffic. This problem is mitigated by having many road crossing points and is a 20mph zone. There is a good variety of restaurants, cafes and tea shops to suit any budget. It is a great place to visit.

There are lots of nice places to eat and drink and they are particularly good for seafood. There's also a lot of independent shops selling interesting things which makes the town different to others. You can walk easily along the seafront on paved walkway and enjoy lovely views out to sea.

Whitstable has a lot to offer, great beaches, independent shops (plus a few good chain shops), cafes and restaurants, super dog friendly and wonderful locals! If you are looking for a quick getaway from where you are, then Whitstable is a fabulous option! I go virtually every year with my dogs for a break, beach walks, retail therapy, eating, drinking and relaxing. Whitstable has it all with a cherry on top!!

The lady Charlotte at the Hotel Continental was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The apartment was right in the middle of everything that we needed. The parking facility is fantastic, being able to park undercover right underneath the apartment. It was very clean, brilliant shower, and plenty of space. TV was easy to use and had plenty of coffee/tea etc available. Overall am very happy with our stay and will definitely be recommending and coming to visit again! Again I must reiterate how fantastic Charlotte was at the hotel.

It was spacious, comfortable, well equipped and ideal for our short break. I’ve never had the tea making goodies provided in any of the other cottages we’ve stayed in - it almost felt like we were in a posh hotel! On the dry weather days, we were able to have some ‘al fresco’ breakfast and evening meals out in the private courtyard garden. It was close enough to walk into Whitstable town centre and down to the beach and along the Tankerton slopes, but was also set back from the road. Having its own parking space was fantastic.

An amazing boutique hotel. Decor and views down to beach are exceptional. But the things that make this hotel stand out are the brilliant staff and owners. They are so friendly and laid back. Nothing is to much trouble. At the NYE party they all joined in and made it feel like you were out partying with a group of friends. Would highly recommend.

We used to live in Whitstable until March 2024 and were returning to visit 'family and friends' from Leicester, where we now live. We know your hotel VERY WELL and actually spent 'the First Night of our HONEYMOON' with you in April 2010. Consequently, our 'expectations' were high and 'we were not disappointed !
