Our room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an evening meal at the hotel and the there was a good choice of food on the menu and quality of the food was very good, as was the breakfast. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend the hotel.

I liked the unique ambience, the stunning views from the windows (I stayed at the attic floor), the friendliness of the staff and the amazing Indian restaurant at the same building. The manager even approached me to say they missed me at breakfast! It was a very unique and memorable experience and I will definitely return in my next visits to Durham.

Quite amazing. Due to traffic I arrived afer hours. Everything was ready for me. Sharon did even leave a sandwich in case the pub around the corner would not provide food anymore (which was the case). everything sparkling clean, heating blazing (it was very cold outside) and quick and good breakfast service.

It was simply beautiful, immaculately clean and well maintained. Loved having the horses over the fence at the back of our little pod. Was also handy having the cafe onsite aswell. Toasty warm and had all the amenities we needed.
