Everything about this place was welcoming and warm - from the first minute we stepped in until we left. Primarily the staff are very friendly and unbelievably helpful - from nailing the restaurant recommendations, to helping organise excursions, to even helping us solve out some car issues. The location is excellent - with a perfect view of the Gergeti Church - and it's actually a hop skip and away from starting the beautiful trek up, the rooms are wooden and set at just the right temperature and very tastefully decorated and equipped - and even though we did not opt for the breakfast, it looked amazing. It felt entirely like a high end homestay, as if you were staying at your highly accommodating friends up in the mountain. Totally recommend it.

Our stay for sure exceeded our expectations. Hotel is brand-new, has wonderful interior and exterior. Would like to mention the amazing sauna that was arranged specially for us. And also the friendly staff, nice breakfast, cleanliness and facilities in the rooms overall. Suatis Resort Kazbegi would for sure work for solo-travellers as well. The hotel was very cosy, with decor and style that gave positive vibes. I really appreciated how tidy the room was. The view from the terrace was breathtaking - it was lovely to enjoy a couple of beers there after a day of hiking. I was travelling alone, so the small room was perfectly sufficient for me. However, the bathroom might feel a bit cramped if you're very tall, so it's worth asking about larger options if available.
